IASTM

What It Is:
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization is the use of specific tools in a low-friction manner to amplify the effectiveness of STM treatment.

How it Helps:
IASTM triggers an inflammatory healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and pain-free healing. It decreases rehab & recovery time and can effectively address chronic pain.

Myofascial Release

What It Is:
A targeted massage therapy technique designed to fascial adhesions and relax muscle groups.

How it Helps:
By releasing contracted muscle groups, pain is alleviated, flexibility is restored, and blood & lymphatic circulation is improved.

Massage Therapy

What It Is:
Deep-tissue massage techniques designed to work in harmony with the larger pain-targeted treatment plan customized to your needs.

How it Helps:
These targeted massages address muscle tightness and joint pain, providing immediate relief and supporting the long-term success of the Peak Chiropractic treatment plan.

Fascial Distortion Model

What It Is:
FDM is a manner of approaching soft tissue pain that balances real patient input with medical tests to arrive at a hyper-specific treatment plan.

How it Helps:
This model allows us to keep the pain you’re experiencing top of mind and ensures that we achieve the best possible outcomes that not only provide relief but restore function long-term.

Dry Needling

What It Is:
This therapy involves the insertion of tiny needles into pressure points of knotted muscle. These needles don’t inject anything into the body, and this approach is visually similar to acupuncture.

How it Helps:
Dry needling triggers tight, knotted muscles to release and/or stop spasming, which provides relief from pain, greater flexibility, and improved range of motion.
